I was fooling around with camera settings and lighting last night and I found myself forming an actual collection of photos. The small collection of photos is from our bedroom and is what I see when I wake up in the morning and look around the room, minus the window and TV that are in the room. I also added in a few photos of my favorite and most comfy pajama pants! Not being able to get the correct exposures and the correct lighting I have decided that it is necessary that I dedicate a lot more time to studying photography if I ever want to be able to take pictures. I know so little but its enough to be dissatisfied with what I shoot and get frustrated.
I love sleep, and food (eating and preparing) which doesn't always work out too well for the waistline. I adore chocolate and my husband. My friends make me feel amazing all of the time. I like to shop but I'm a very very very simple girl. My goal in life is to only surround myself with those items necessary for survival and when that has been accomplished I can slowly add things to my collection that define me, however they must be useful. Water is where I'm most comfortable. I love a good book and travel. I'm very fond of helping others. I can be cranky. I don't wear make up often and I love running around naked.
I bet if you read a bit about the zone system it would help with your confidence w/ exposure.
ReplyDeleteColor temperature also has a a great deal to do with how you choose to expose.
Don't get too frustrated though! Keep on playing around, you'll get better and better the more time you spend with it!
